I'm a game developer working on a project known as rampRage (name change pending)
RampRage is a game inspired by titanfall 2,doom,and ultrakill.
The movement is based on my reverse engineering of quake and source, allowing things such as air strafing in unreal engine 4.
The combat,however, is entirely unique to this game. Guns are closely based on doom, but the goal is to make a combat sandbox,expanding on the ideas of ultrakill, where weapons have unique effcts.
Melee attacks, however, are different from either game.
punching is a fast option for melee,knocks an enemy back, and will not make you put your weapon away.
another option is to use your katanna, which will put your gun away,but give you the ability to cut enemies in half,and parry projectiles and other attacks back at enemies.
